Weekend Roundup
There were some great performances from Dinamic athletes this past weekend ( we are still waiting for official results in some cases and we will post these as we get them ). First up Dinamic Coach Philip Sassie ran the Mercedes Benz 21.1km road race in Germany ( the runners run through and around the Mercedes plant. ) Philip ran a controlled and tactical race to finish in first place with a great time of 1:13:48. Really looking to see how he goes in his first stand alone marathon in a few weeks time.
Over in Windhoek Namibia Melissa Hinze took part in 80km Pedal Power race and put in a incredible effort to break away with a couple of Km to go from the bunch to be pipped at the post into 2nd position at the line. Brave racing and so good to see the improvements coming.
Meanwhile at home in Western Cape Guy Le Ray Cooke was riding the 50 -60 age group Tour of Good Hope and rode both hard and smart coming 4th in the TT and 2nd in 3, 4 and 5 to take 2nd overall. Great result and well earned. As mentioned more results to be finalised but will update as we go.
