Race Day Packing
For some unknown reason triathletes, usually of sound mind, become forgetful dimwits when
it comes to race day. In order to make sure you don’t end up running around hunting for
things go through the check list and make sure you have it all!
GENERAL
Race belt / safety pins
Race number / chip (you get this at registration- make sure you don’t lose it!)
Heart rate monitor (strap+ sensor+ watch)
Spare running shoes for warm up
Sun block
Nutrition – Gels, Juice, Water, Bars etc.
Insulation tape
Alan keys + tools +pump
SWIM
Race suit
Wet suit
Goggles
Cap (you get this at registration but bring a spare in case)
Antichafe
CYCLE
Bike (make sure it is serviced and ready for the race)
Wheels
Spare tubes
Co2 cartridge + valve

Elastic bands (if you need them for your shoes)
