Dinamic Newsletter- 1 November

Happy November Dinamic athletes!!

Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year…pretty scary!!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Tasmin Theron whose father passed away on Sunday. Our thoughts are with you.

PLEASE let me know if you will be coming to the braai on Sunday. I need to know by lunch time at the latest. It is a bring and braai so bring your meat and drinks, salads will be provided. (Oh, and to all the international folk who have been asking, a braai is an awesome tradition of roasting raw meat on an open flame. Here in Africa it is the way us primitive folk cook…)

The Gauteng athletes will also be braaing on the 24th of November after the GNT Triathlon. The Dinamic Gazebo will be up and it would be great to have a catch up. If you have not entered as an individual then you can enter as a team. Chat to Riana if you are keen and we can try and get a Dinamic team or two together.

Our Scottish athletes, whilst probably not braaing, are getting together on the 29th of November so lots of festivities all round! (It is actually what us athletes do best…KUIER!)

Then, we have had some great results this past weekend. A special shout out to Leo Brea who managed to achieve a new PB at 70.3 Miami, finishing in a blitzing time of 4:42 (22nd in his AG).

Our Slanghoek athletes also had a great race and you can see all the results on the Iqela page . Congrats to Scotty and his team for winning the team event, to Tracy for coming 2nd and to Colleen for coming 3rd in the Open Category. Coach Diana also made her debut back to triathlon and managed an impressive 4th place in her age category. There were so many awesome result are we really are SO SO proud of all who took part! Check out the Slanghoek report in the blog section

We are also super proud of Lizzy Strauss and Amanda Viljoen for completing the Heia Safari race. It was Amanda’s first open water swim and she cracked it!

Dinamic will also be working with GU for the coming year and we will be ordering twice a month. If you are interested then please contact Neil. This is great for those doing Ironman as this will be the product on the course so you can start using it now and have everything you need on race day at all the aid stations.

Gu is also sponsoring AG athletes so if you would like to be considered for sponsorship then please contact Neil for the details.

Below are 2 products available from Rusty at BikePlus in Constantia. Please give him a shout if you are interested. rusty@bikeplus.co.za The Osymmetric rings are compact 50/38 (R1100) and the wheel is a Bontrager 50mm carbon clincher (R3500)
