Happy weekend DInamic Athletes!!

I hope you have all had an amazing week and are ready for some fabulous weekend training! Summer has finally arrived in Cape Town (yes everyone else…we know CT is a bit on the slow side!!) so I hope lots of you will be out and about wherever you are!

We send a very special welcome to 3 new athletes: Laurie Blake, Tasmin Theron and Amanda Viljoen. Welcome to Dinamic!

A huge congrats to two of our athletes who raced this past weekend:

  • Rod Shaw who placed 1st at the Edinburgh David Lloyd Triathlon
  • Michael Kinsella who placed 3rd at the Loch Gillpead Triathlon

I know there are a few racing in Clanwilliam so best of luck to Morne, Janice, Lorran, Tracy, Howard, Bianca, Boyd, Helena and Rene! Will see you there for what promises to be fantastic day out. Weather is looking great! Tara from Onigiri has a great offer on her Asian Sandwiches- send her an email with your order and bring the voucher below along and you only pay R15 instead of R20! They are super yummy and are the perfect after race snack.

There has been a lot of talk about Kona, Hawaii lately and, as most of you hopefully know, our very own coach Diana has raced there as a Pro…the only South African pro to have done so…and she has written a fantastic blog about what it is like.

In Gauteng the training for next week is as follows:  (please remember to confirm if you will be joining for these sessions)

Monday 7 Oct -18h00: Swim Willowridge High
Wednesday  9 Oct 16h00: Run Die Wilgers Hoërskool
Wednesday  9 Oct 18h00: Swim Willowridge High
Saturday 12 Oct : Chamberlains 10 – 21 km  pre enter on www.enteronline.co.za

Things are picking up in Cape Town, race wise and there is lots on! The Gun Run is happening next weekend and I know a lot of Dinamic athletes are taking part. There will be a social get together after the race, just waiting on venue confirmation, so look out for the details in the next newsletter!

Jailbreak entries are also open so make sure you enter soon!! Or, if you are the lucky type, then try and win an entry on TriTalkSA. It is great prep for 70.3 and is loads of fun.

Lastly, if you have not met, seen or heard about Greg Hunt yet, our new body-repair man, then make an appointment with Neil soon- he has magic fingers and will keep you in one piece so you can train hard for your next goal race!

Happy training and racing this weekend!!
