No only did we have amazing results at the 70.3, we also had athletes completing the tough Xterra Buffelsport- congrats to Lizzy Strauss and Amanda Vijoen!
Also, a super well done to our Dinamic athletes, qualifying to represent their province at SA Tri Champs: Ewert Kleynhans, Riana Robertson and Brett Faure (Gauteng) and Colleen de Oliveira (WP).
Best of luck to Leon Page racing the NW Duathlon Champs on Sunday, and to Andy Robertson, Jurie Spykerman and Justin Erdis doing the Serengeti MTB race on Saturday.
There are also a number of races on in CT:
On Saturday is the Lion of Africa Half Marathon in Tokai. Please be reminded that 2013 ASA Licenses can no longer be used for this coming weekend’s running races. Runners wearing 2013 numbers will be disqualified from the race and fined. Also be sure to wear both ASA 2014 License numbers, one on the back and one on the front of your vest. The club gets fined when runners only wear one number.
On Sunday are the Roller Coaster Road Fun and League Ride in Constantia and the Clifton 1st Sunday of the Month Swim.
The 2014 WPTA Duathlon Championships are on Sunday at uniWines in Rawsonville. On-line entries (www.wptatridu.co.za) for the champs close on Friday 31 January at 18:00. You can enter on Sunday as well but there will be an additional charge of R50. Age Groupers start at 07:30.
