Hello Dinamic Athletes!

I hope you have all had a good week! It has been a pretty quiet week on the racing front, so I hope the training has been in full swing!

Most importantly this week PLEASE can I ask that you mail me (Tracy) and let me know what events you are taking part in. I try my best to get the info from your coaches but sometimes I miss a few (and then feel miserable that I forgot).

Then, due to terrible service from Velotex, we have had to change our kit suppliers. Please can you get in touch with your coach to try on the new kit and place your order. Neil will have kit to try on at Slanghoek for those racing this weekend and Riana also has kit up in JHB. Please try the kit on ASAP so we can get it to you quickly. I will post an updated price list on the website tomorrow.

For those in Gauteng. Riana will be confirming the training times for this week via sms. Please send her a mail if you are not yet on her contact list.

The WP Triathlon office has been experiencing difficulties with the TSA administration system so there have been delays with processing TSA Licenses. If you have not received your licence yet and need it for the weekend then please contact the TSA office. You can check your licence status on the TSA website.

Also, Due to an overwhelming demand, WP Athletics has run out of ASA licenses but plans are afoot to replenish supplies. New numbers will become available before entries open for the Two Oceans Half Marathon (11 November for licensed runners). In the meantime you can update / register your details with Two Oceans. Once you receive your license number, you can return to the site and add Club / License details.

General consensus is that most people are available on 3 November for a get together. The plan is to meet at 11h00 at Silvermine to do an open water swim and then head down to Dinamic Coaching (Sea Cottage Drive, Noordhoek). For those not keen on the swim, you can come directly to Dinamic at 12h30. Please RSPV to Tracy by Thursday so we have numbers for catering (salads). Please bring your own meat and drinks.

We will still be getting together at Slanghoek but will not be braaing. We plan on having a bring-and-share style early lunch/brunch between the finish and prize-giving. The gazebo will be up and there will be some drinks and nibbles so we can spend some hanging out.

All the best to those racing this weekend at Slanghoek and to Leo who is racing Ironman 70.3 Miami!

Hope the wind is at your back and the beer cold at the finish!
