Relay Wild Tri

Scotland’s first team relay format triathlon will take place at Kilgraston School in beautiful Perthshire.
We’re calling it the Relay Wild Tri because it is our club’s first attempt to host a race in Perth. Add to that the exciting format of a team relay race and who knows what will happen on the day!
Teams of 4 will all complete a short triathlon course of approximately 200m swim / 5.8km cycle / 1.2km run. Team member 1 races swim/bike/run and then tags team member 2 who receives the timing chip and goes onto complete the swim/bike/run and so on and so on until the 4th team member crosses the finish line. The race will be chip timed by Aberdeenshire race timing.
Teams of 4 are eligible to take part and must be composed of the format noted below. Teams can be groups of friends, club mates, family or corporate. The distances are very short so it is ideal if you want to race your heart out or give triathlon a try for the first time with the comfort of your team mates to cheer you on.
2 x male + 2 x female or 4 x male or 4 x female. There will be a limit of 30 teams.
No other combinations please so that we can plan for the prizegiving. We encourage teams to have a theme or a team name and you can dress to your theme if you so desire. If you want to race seriously, that is ok too.
