Gartmorn Dam Duathlon

Gartmorn Dam is situated in the heart of Scotland’s central belt and within easy reach of much of the population. With its stunning location, near endless variety of off road trails, parking facilities and visitor centre it is the perfect venue for a midweek novice multisport race.
Clackmannanshire Council are delivering this event with backing from Event Scotland and Clacks Active.
We are staging two off road duathlon races. One is a junior race and is open to children in P6 upwards. We also have a novice adults’ race which is aimed at first timers and relative newcomers to the sport.
The format for all races is an off road run, mountain bike and off road run. The junior race will be split into year groups and the distances are as follows:
P6-P7 – 1k/2k/1k
S1-S2 – 1.5k/2.5k/1.5k
S3-S4 – 2k/5k/2k
S5-S6 – 2.5k/5k/2k
The adults’ race will be 2.5k/5k/2.5k
