Crazy Store Table Mountain Challenge

The 37km route is a tough and challenging trail run, for experienced trail runners who are both fit and capable.
Leg 2 (contour path, but not flat)
Leg 3 has compulsory equipment requirements, ensure you know the rules.Compulsory Equipment is as follows (for SOLO entrants and LEG 3 if part of a team) :
- Water – Carry at least 1.5L of water or hydration pack. Bladder pack strongly recommended.
- Food – Energy Bar/ Sandwich/ Banana.
- A cellphone charged with organisers number.
- A windbreaker is compulsory. Waterproof jacket is highly recommended if rain is expected, you will NOT be allowed to participate if you do not have one.
- Hat and sun lotion.
Both entry categories are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
The entry fee includes the first Ascent Race Tee (value R399) and Race cap (value R125), along with all the race services of timing, online results, free photos on facebook, medics, marshals and free massage at the finish.
You may also win some of the R20 000 prize money, a famous Tree Trophy and other awesome gifts.
Standard Solo entries open on Wed 17th at noon, Entry fee of R495 + R100 donation = R595.
Standard Team entries open a week later on Wed 24th at noon, Entry fee is R845 + R150 donation = R995, for 3 runners!
We raised R40 000 last year for the Park’s Honorary Rangers and hope to top that amount this year! Thanks to you.
Payment is by credit card only and entries via our online system only.
If you have entered an event with us previously, the system will remember you, to save you some time.
Medical info must be correctly filled out – if you are not fit for running in mountains, do not enter. This is a tough trail running race. Only the first leg of the relay is suitable for beginners and teenagers. Only experienced trail runners may do the 3rd leg and the full solo event.
Team Entries must contain 3 different names – you may substitute a team member at a later stage at a cost of R100 per sub.
